Three 5 x 4 negatives were tray developed with PMK Pyro at 20 C for 9 minutes, with 2 minutes staining in the pyro bath after fixing, continuous agitation.
First one came out beautifully.
Second one was under-developed. Usable.
Third one, very faint. Unusuable.
I suspect that the developer got contaminated with fixer, as negatives went back to the pyro bath for further staining after fixing.
For the next session:
- If processing 2 negatives, make fresh pyro.
- If processing 3 or more, make fresh pyro bath for development, use the first batch for staining.
- Reduce amount of developer from 500 ml to 300 ml.
